THE CAMPUS

The CAMPUS is the completion of a new city district, and the creation of a new community. The site consists of five key zones: an office park, a retail center, a university, teaching hospital, as well as residential housing and sports facilities.

CAMPUS SCIENCE PARK is a superior standard office park, with flexible buildings, that can accommodate all types of modern, hi-tech and R&D business. The buildings are built around a landscaped square with café and deck.

Campus Square is a street level retail ‘town center’, opening in Novemeber 2008, offering 20,000 sqm of retail space and over 50 shops, services, cafes and restaurants. It will be anchored by a Tesco hypermarket.

Future residential housing is planned for the northern part of The CAMPUS. Modern houses and villas with gardens will add to the community nature of the site.

The €100 million extension to Masaryk University, which will house the expanded faculties for Science, Medicine and Sport, and promises to add an extra 5,000 students to the existing 62,000 in Brno. The site will also contain student housing and sports facilities.

The Faculty Hospital of Brno is also the largest teaching base for Masaryk University’s Faculty of Medicine. The Hospital has some of the best testing laboratories in the Czech Republic, as well as normal hospital facilities for the local population.

The site is easily accessed, either from the purpose built slip road from Bitesska, or multiple exits on Jihlavska. A series of new roads links all the zones in THE CAMPUS site.

A brand new bus and trolley-bus terminal is being constructed in Netroufalky behind the retail town center and Science Park. Multiple routes will run from here to the center and local residential areas.
